FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a Holy feast that always falls the day after the Passover at even. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is observed by the space of 7 days with the first and last day being Sabbaths. Click Here for information on how to observe the Passover. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is symbolic of our departure from Egypt in such haste the the bread didn't have time to rise(leaven) and also the removal of leaven(sin) out of our lives.
"Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavenedbread of sincerity and truth." ~1st Corinthians 5:8
"And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread." Leviticus 23:6
For seven days nothing that is leavened shall be eating by the children of Israel. that means no bread or foods with yeast or leavening agents shall be consumed.
"Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever." ~Exodus 12:15-17
